[MIDVAAL] – Ten injured after two bakkies collide.

Ten people were left injured this afternoon when two bakkies collided at the R551 and Karee Road intersection in Midvaal.
ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene to find both bakkies on the side of the road. Occupants that had been on the back of one of the bakkies were found spread around the scene.
Paramedics immediately assessed the patients and found that ten had sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.
The patients were treated for their injuries, and the seriously injured provided with advanced life support interventions.
Once treated, the patients were transported to Mediclinic Emfuleni and Mediclinic Vereeniging for urgent treatment.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
