[CARLETONVILLE] – Bakkie rolls leaving four injured.

Four people were left injured this morning following a bakkie rollover on the R500 outside of Carletonville.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find the bakkie on the side of the road. The four occupants, that had been in the bakkie when it rolled, were found walking around on the scene.

Paramedics assessed the patients and found that four men, aged between 30 and 50, were found to have sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to The Fountain and Carletonville Provincial Hospitals for further treatment.

The cause of the incident is not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
