Fourteen injured in taxi collision
Fourteen people were injured this morning after a taxi collision on Johan Le Roux Road in Meyerton, near Vanderbijlpark. ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on scene and found the wrecked taxi wedged up against a residence wall. The occupants of the taxi were found walking around on the scene. Paramedics assessed the patients on scene and found that fourteen people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Paramedics treated and stabilised the patients on scene for their injuries and thereafter transported them to nearby hospitals for urgent medical treatment. Fire services were also on scene to offer their assistance. The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
