[ALBERTON] – Man killed in a three-vehicle collision

This afternoon, a man in his 60s was killed following a collision between two light motor vehicles and a truck on the N12 highway in Alberton.
ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on the scene at 13h04 to find two light motor vehicles in the middle of the highway.
On closer inspection, medics found the body of a man, believed to be in his 60s, lying inside the one vehicle. Medics assessed the man and found that he showed no signs of life. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead.
The truck that collided with the two light motor vehicles was not found on the scene.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
