[ALBERTSKROON] Cyclist seriously injured in collision

A man, believed to be in his thirties, sustained severe injuries when he was knocked off his bicycle in Albertskroon, Johannesburg.

Shortly before 8 am on Tuesday, paramedics arrived on the scene where they found the man lying a few meters away from the vehicle. He has sustained various injuries and was later placed on life support by paramedics. He was then transported to Helen Joseph Hospital for further medical care.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured in the collision.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident is not yet known.
