[BENONI] – Taxi and truck collide leaving six injured.

Six adults were left injured this morning when a truck and taxi collided at the Birch and Forest Road intersection in Benoni.
At 08h15 ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the taxi and truck parked on the side of the road. Several people were found walking around on the scene.
Medics assessed the patients and found that six people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
