[BERGBRON] – Bike crashes into bakkie leaving man critical.

A man, believed to be in his 20s, was left critically injured yesterday afternoon following a collision between a bakkie and motorbike at the Gordon and Lange Road intersection in Bergbron.

ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene to find a bakkie parked in the middle of the road. A motorbike was found partially beneath the bakkie with the biker lying a short distance away.

Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and was in a critical condition.

The man was treated for their injuries and provided with several advanced life support interventions before he was transported to a private hospital for further treatment.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
