The 42-year-old passenger was extricated by the Fire Department using the Jaws Of Life and treated using Advanced Life Support interventions. The driver of the second bakkie, a black double-cab, was extracted and also treated with Advanced Life Support interventions before both were transported to a private hospital in the area by both Provincial EMS and ER24.
