[BLOEMSPRUIT] Man declared dead following fatal drowning

A man was declared dead following a fatal drowning incident at Bloemspruit River this afternoon.

ER24 paramedics were called to the scene by the SAPS Diving Unit and arrived at the scene shortly after 14h00. The SAPS divers found a body drifting in the water. Once the body was retrieved from the water, ER24 paramedics declared the man dead at the scene.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics.
