[BOKSBURG] Biker seriously injured in vehicle knock-down

A male motorbike rider sustained serious injuries after being knocked down by a vehicle on 11th Avenue in the North of Boksburg this morning.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after 08h00, they found the biker lying on the pavement. Upon further assessment, paramedics found that he sustained serious injuries. Advanced life support interventions were immediately initiated before he was transported to hospital for further medical care.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
