[BOKSBURG] Two killed, two injured in collision
Two people were killed and two others were left injured following a two-vehicle rollover on the N17 in Boksburg early this morning.
When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after 00h00, they found other medical services already at the scene. Upon further assessment, they found one person who was in a critical condition. Advanced life support interventions were immediately initiated, but despite the best efforts of the paramedics, the patient, unfortunately, succumbed to their injuries at the scene and was declared dead. Another patient was found to have sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.
Two others were found to have sustained moderate injuries, they were treated at the scene before being transported to hospital for further medical care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident is not known to our paramedics, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
