[BONANNE] Teenager seriously injured in car collision with tree

An 18-year-old female has suffered serious injuries after she lost control of her vehicle and collided with a tree on the R42 outside the Bonanne suburb of Vanderbijlpark yesterday afternoon.

ER24 paramedics and the Emfuleni Fire Department were on the scene at 15:08 on Saturday the 4th of January, 2020 to find the young woman entrapped in her vehicle. Our medics were able to start treating her with Advanced Life Support interventions while the Fire Department used the Jaws Of Life to pop open the doors of her light motor vehicle. Once free, she was taken to Sebokeng Hospital for further care.

The South African Police Services were also on the scene for further investigations.
