[BRACKENHURST] One killed, another injured in a shooting incident

One man was killed and another left injured following a shooting incident on the corners of Hennie Alberts and Agapanthus street in Brackenhurst this afternoon.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after 14h30, they found two men, believed to be suspects, lying in the street. Upon further assessment, the one man was found to have sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene by paramedics. The other man had sustained minor injuries. ER24 treated him at the scene before the man was taken into custody by the SAPS.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not known to our paramedics, but police were on the scene for further investigations.
