[CARLETONVILLE] Pedestrian critically injured after being knocked down by truck

A man believed to about 35 years of age has suffered critical injuries after being knocked down by a truck on Agnew Road in Carletonville during the night.

ER24 paramedics were on the scene at 01:50 along with Provincial Services. The man was found lying in the road in a critical condition. The patient required Advanced Life Support while being transported to Potchefstroom Provincial Hospital for further care.

The truck driver was uninjured in the incident.
