[CENTURION] – Baby girl found in veld.

A baby girl, believed to be 2-years-old, was found that in a veld near the R55 and Mimosa intersection in Centurion.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 09h15 to find the girl in the veld. Local authorities were already in attendance.

Medics assessed the young patient and found that she had sustained no injuries but was suffering from mild hypothermia.

The patient was warmed and thereafter transported to a provincial hospital for further care.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
