[CENTURION] Pedestrian suffers critical injuries in collision

A 42-year-old man has suffered critical injuries after being knocked down at the intersection of the R55 and Drakensberg Road in the Olievenhoutbosch area of Centurion this evening.

ER24 paramedics were on the scene at 19:10 along with the PMPD and Metro Police. The man was found lying on the side of the road behind the light-motor-vehicle involved. He was found in a critical condition and required Advanced Life Support interventions. He was then transported through to hospital for further care.

The driver and passenger of the vehicle were found to have not sustained any injuries. The exact circumstances surrounding this incident are unknown to ER24, however law enforcement were on the scene for further investigations.
