[CENTURION] Two-year-old girl critical following drowning

A two-year-old girl is in a critical condition following a non-fatal drowning in a home pool at a golf estate in Centurion this afternoon. The parents of the child had called for help.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 14:01 to find another private service in attendance. Our ALS medic assisted with Advanced Life Support interventions before the patient was flown by medical helicopter to a private hospital in Johannesburg for further care.

The Estate’s security service was also on the scene.
