[DALTON] Young girl injured after wall collapses

An 8-year-old girl sustained serious injuries after a wall collapsed on top of her in the Dalton area in KwaZulu-Natal this morning.

The girl’s family decided to transport her to hospital and had met up with ER24 paramedics and another ambulance service halfway there. When ER24 paramedics stopped at the scene, they found the girl already being treated in the back of an ambulance. Paramedics found that the girl had sustained serious injuries. They treated her at the scene before transporting her to hospital for further medical care.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics.
