[DELMAS] – Three critical when bakkie and truck collide.

Three men were left critically injured last night when a bakkie and truck towing a trailer, collided on the R555 in Delmas.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene at 17h09 to find the bakkie parked on the side of the road. One man was found lying trapped inside the bakkie. Fire Services had to use the jaws-of-life equipment to free the man.
Once freed, medics assessed the men and found that all three from the bakkie had sustained numerous injuries and were in a critical condition.
The men were treated and provided with advanced life support interventions before they were transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
