[DOBSONVILLE] Man seriously injured in vehicle rollover

A 43-year-old man sustained serious injuries when his vehicle overturned along Dobsonville Road, west of Johannesburg, on Friday evening.

At approximately 9.30pm, paramedics from ER24 and local emergency services arrived on the scene where they found the overturned vehicle lying in the nearby veld. The man was found a few meters away from the wreckage. He had sustained serious fractures to his lower legs. Paramedics stabilised him on the scene and later transported him to Helen Joseph Hospital for further care.

It is believed that the man fell out of the vehicle when it overturned. The exact circumstances leading up to the incident is not yet known. Local authorities also attended the scene.
