[DORINGKLOOF] – Man killed when car crashes into ditch.

A man, believed to be in his 30s, was killed last night when his light motor vehicle crashed into a drainage ditch on the Botha offramp off the N1 highway in Doringkloof.

ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene at 18h04 to find the light motor vehicle in the drainage ditch. A man was found lying trapped inside the vehicle.

Medics assessed the man and found that he had already succumbed to his numerous injuries. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead.

The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
