[DOUGLASDALE] – Woman critical in vehicle rollover.

A 20-year-old woman was critically injured last night when her vehicle rolled at the Douglas and Alexander intersection in Douglasdale.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 20h45 to find the vehicle upright on the side of the road. The woman was found lying trapped inside the car.
Rescue Services had to use specialised equipment to free the woman from the vehicle. Once released, the woman was treated for her injuries and provided advanced life support interventions before being airlifted by a private medical helicopter to a nearby hospital.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
