[DURBAN CENTRAL] – Man left seriously injured in hit-and-run.

A man was left seriously injured this morning when he was struck by a vehicle at the Warwick Junction in Durban Central.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 08h18 to find the man lying in the middle of the road.

Medics assessed the patient and found that he had sustained serious injuries to his legs and was in a serious condition.

The man was treated for his injuries and provided with pain-relief medication before he was transported to Addington Provincial Hospital for further care.

The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
