[EDENDALE] Pedestrian seriously injured in vehicle knock over

A female pedestrian, believed to be in her early 40s, sustained serious injuries following a vehicle knock over on the R56 crossroad in Edendale last night.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly before 18H00, they found the woman lying halfway off the road on the grass. Upon further assessment, it was found that she had sustained serious injuries.

No-one from the vehicle had sustained any injuries.

ER24, as well as another medical service at the scene, treated and transported her to Edendale hospital for further medical care.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics.
