[ELANDSDRIFT] Biker critically injured in collision

A male motorbike rider sustained critical injuries following a collision on Beyers Naude drive in Elandsdrift this afternoon.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene at approximately 15H00, they found another medical service already in attendance. Upon further assessment, they found the biker lying in a ditch on the side of the road. He was found to be in a critical condition. ER24 helped with treatment at the scene before the man was airlifted to hospital by medical helicopter for further medical care.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics.
