[ELSIES RIVER] – Vehicle rollover leaves one dead, four injured.

One man was killed, and four others were left injured this afternoon when a light motor vehicle rollover on Elsies River Road in Elsies River, Western Cape.
ER24 paramedics, with the Metro, Fire and Rescue, arrived on the scene and found the light motor vehicle in the middle of the road. The engine and other debris were found spread across the roadside.
Medics assessed the patients around the vehicle and found that a man in his 30s had sustained numerous fatal injuries. Nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead.
Four other patients were tended to. Two men and a 4-year-old boy were found in a serious condition while a woman was found with moderate injuries.
The patients were treated for their injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions before they were transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
