[EPPING INDUSTRIAL] – Man seriously injured in industrial accident.

A man sustained a severe injury to his leg yesterday afternoon following an industrial accident in Epping Industrial in the Western Cape.
ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene at 13h10 to find several people assisting the injured man. It is understood that the man’s leg had become entrapped between two conveyor platforms. Fortunately, the man was freed by fellow workers shortly after.
Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained a significant injury to his leg. The man was treated and provided with pain-relief medication before he was transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
The cause of this incident is not yet known.
