[ERASMIA] Two men assaulted, one killed

One man has been killed and another injured after they were assaulted in Skurweberg Street, Erasmia, North of Centurion this evening. Both are believed to be in their mid-30s.

ER24 paramedics were on the scene at 19:30. The fatally injured man had already succumbed to four gunshot wounds in his back. A community medic had been trying to resuscitate him on scene prior to ER24’s arrival without success. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for the man and he was declared dead on the scene. The second man had been hit over the head with a bottle. He was treated for minor injuries and transported to hospital for further care.

The South African Police Services were on scene for further investigation.
