[ERMELO] Man killed in collision between a taxi and truck

A man was killed following a collision between a taxi and truck just outside of Ermelo direction Hendrina early this morning.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly before 06h00, they found the taxi driver inside of the vehicle. Upon further assessment, it was found that he was showing no signs of life and was declared dead by paramedics. The driver of the truck sustained no injuries.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics.
