[ERMELO] – Vehicle rollover leaves one dead, two injured.

A man was killed and two others injured this morning when the vehicle they were travelling in rolled off the N2, approximately 5km outside of Ermelo, Mpumalanga.

ER24 paramedics, along with the Provincial EMS, arrived on the scene shortly after 05h00 to find a single light motor vehicle lying on its side on the side of the road. Two men were found lying inside the vehicle while a third was found walking around on the scene.

Medics assessed the patients and found that one man, lying trapped inside the light motor vehicle, had sustained numerous fatal injuries. Nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead.

The two other men were assessed and found to have sustained minor injuries. Once treated, they were transported to Ermelo Provincial Hospital for further care.

The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
