[EVANDER] Driver killed, passenger injured in single vehicle rollover

A 36-year-old male has died and a 25-year-old male has suffered serious injuries after losing control of their light-motor-vehicle and rolling some 50 meters from the R546 between Evander and Embalenhle, in Mpumalanga, last night.

ER24 was on scene at 21:25 last night along with all emergency services. The 36-year-old driver was found entrapped in the BMW and showing no signs of life. Nothing could be done for the man and he was declared Dead on Arrival by ER24. The 25-year-old male passenger had managed to self-extricate from the wreck and was found next to the vehicle having suffered moderate injuries. He was then treated and transported to hospital for further care by ER24.

The cause of the incident is unknown to ER24, but SAPS were on the scene for further investigations.
