[EZAKHENI] Biker injured after colliding with cow

A 60-year-old man has been seriously injured after he collided with a cow in the dark on his motorbike on the Helpmekaar Road, Ezakheni, about 20km from Ladysmith last night.

ER24 paramedics arrived on scene at 21:22 to find the man and the cow lying in the road. He had suffered multiple injuries, was treated on scene and taken to Ladysmith Provincial Hospital for further care.

The cow unfortunately died on scene.
