[FAIRLANDS] – Man hospitalised with serious burns.

A man was hospitalised last night with serious burns following a fire on Smit Street in Fairlands, west of Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 22h55 to find the man outside the makeshift home, which was well alight.
Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained burns over most of his body, leaving him in a critical condition.
The man was treated and provided advanced life support interventions before being transported to Helen Joseph Hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
