[FOCHVILLE] – Minibus and car collide, leaving one dead.

This afternoon, a woman in her 40s was killed when a minibus collided with her light motor vehicle on the N12 in Fochville.
ER24 arrived on the scene at 15h55 to find the Provincial EMS already in attendance. A minibus and a light motor vehicle were parked in the middle of the road.
On closer inspection, medics found a woman, believed to be in her 40s, lying trapped in the light motor vehicle. Unfortunately, the woman had already succumbed to her numerous injuries. Nothing could be done for her, and she was declared dead.
The driver of the minibus, fortunately, escaped injury.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
