[HILLBROW] – One killed, another injured in shooting.

One man was killed, and another left injured this afternoon following a shooting incident at the Claim and De Villiers intersection in Hillbrow.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 12h00 to find one man lying on the pavement while a second man was being treated by the City of Johannesburg EMS.
Medics assessed the man found lying on the pavement and found that he had sustained a gunshot wound to his head and showed no signs of life. Nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead.
The second man was treated by the Provincial Services and transported to a nearby hospital.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
