[HILLCREST] – Biker killed in collision.

A man, believed to be in his 30s, was killed this afternoon following a collision between a motorbike and truck on Old Main Road in Hillcrest, KwaZulu Natal.

ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene at 13h35 to find the truck in the middle of the road. The motorbike and the rider, a man believed to be in his 30s, was found underneath the truck.

Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life. Nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead by another service.

The driver of the truck fortunately escaped injury.
