[HORISON PARK] – Two-vehicle collision leaves six injured.

Six people were left injured this morning, including four children, when a light motor vehicle crashed into the side of another at the Kingfisher and Crane Road intersection in Horison Park, Roodepoort.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene shortly after 07h00 to find the two vehicles in the middle of the intersection. The occupants had already climbed out of the vehicle and were seated on the pavement.

Medics assessed the patients and found that two adults, a man and woman, and four children, three boys and a girl, had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.

The patients were treated for their injuries and they were thereafter transported to Flora Clinic for further treatment.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
