[KILLARNEY] – Man seriously injured after car and bike collide.

This evening, a man in his 30s was seriously injured when a light motor vehicle and motorbike collided on Riviera Road in Killarney.
ER24 and Vision Tactical arrived at 18h30 to find a light motor vehicle and motorbike in the intersection. The biker, a man in his 30s, was found lying on the side of the road.
Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and was in a serious condition.
The man was treated and provided with pain-relief medication before being transported to Helen Joseph Provincial Hospital for further care.
The driver of the light motor vehicle, fortunately, escaped injury.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
