[KINROSS] One killed, one injured in a head-on collision

A man has been killed and another man had sustained minor injuries after two vehicles collided head-on on the R546 between Kinross and Kriel this afternoon.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly before 12h30, they found another medical service already in attendance and treating a patient. Upon further assessment, paramedics found a man still entrapped in a vehicle. Unfortunately, he had sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
