[KLOOF] – Explosion leaves three injured.

Three people were injured this morning in an apparent explosion at a substation in Kloof, KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 paramedics were flagged down by a colleague of the patient a short distance away from the substation. On inspection, medics found a man lying in the rear of a vehicle. Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained extensive burn wounds and was in a critical condition.
The man was treated and provided with advanced life support interventions before being transported to a nearby hospital for urgent care.
Two other men were injured on the scene. They were treated and transported by other services to nearby hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further care.
