[KYASANDS] – Man-struck-and-killed by light motor vehicle.

A 27-year-old man was killed last night when he was struck by a light motor vehicle on Malibongwe Drive in KyaSands.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the body of a man lying on the centre median. The light motor vehicle that had struck the man was found parked a short distance away.
Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life. Nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead.
The driver of the vehicle, fortunately, escaped injury.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
