[LADYSMITH] – Lucky escape after fire guts building.

Several people escaped injury this morning after a fire gutted a building on Agra Road in Ladysmith, KwaZulu Natal.

ER24 paramedics saw the rising smoke on their way to the branch and immediately responded, arriving at 08h53. The Ladysmith Fire Services arrived on the scene shortly after.

On scene, medics found that several rooms of the building were well alight.

ER24 paramedics assisted in the evacuation efforts while fire services battled the blaze.

Fortunately, no injuries were found on the scene.

The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
