[LONEHILL] – Taxi rollover leaves three dead, twelve injured.

Three people were killed and twelve others injured this morning when a taxi rolled on Main road in Lonehill.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find the taxi upright on the side of the road. Several people were found lying on the roadside after they were ejected when the vehicle rolled.
Medics assessed the patients and found that two men and a woman had sustained fatal injuries. Nothing could be done for them, and they were declared dead.
Twelve other patients were tended to on scene. Five were found to be in a critical condition while seven others had sustained minor to moderate injuries.
Medics treated the patients and provided the critically injured with advanced life support interventions.
Once treated, three critically injured patients were airlifted by private medical helicopters to nearby hospitals while the remaining patients were transported by ambulances.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
