[LONGDALE] – Man killed in apparent robbery.

A man in his 40s was killed last night in an apparent robbery on Commando Road in Longdale.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the local authorities already in attendance. A man was found lying motionless on the pavement.
Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained a stab wound to his chest and showed no signs of life. Nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
