[MAJAZANA] – Scholar hospitalised after stabbing.

A 20-year-old boy was hospitalised this afternoon after he was stabbed by another pupil at a school in Majazana near Orange Farm.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 13:15 and were led into the school where the patient was found. On inspection, medics found the boy being treated by a teacher.
Medics assessed the patient and found that he had sustained a significant stab wound to his back.
The scholar was treated and thereafter transported to Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital for further care.
This incident was reported to the local authorities.
