[MASELSPOORT] Driver seriously injured after collision with Kudu

A 52-year-old man has been seriously injured after colliding with a Kudu while driving his bakkie on the Mazelspoort Road, near Maselspoort, 23 km North-East of Bloemfontein this evening.

ER24 paramedics arrived on-scene at 18:50 to find the man wandering around near his bakkie, which was in the bushes to the side of the road. The Kudu had smashed through the windshield seriously injuring the driver. He was treated using Advanced Life Support interventions before being transported to Mediclinic Bloemfontein for further care.

The Kudu was unfortunately killed in the incident.
