[MEYERTON] – Car crashes into another leaving man seriously injured

A 47-year-old man was left seriously injured this morning when a light motor vehicle crashed into another on the R59 in Meyerton.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 11h24 to find the light motor vehicle on the side of the road. The 47-year-old male driver was found lying next to his car.
Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained severe injuries and was in a serious condition.
The man was treated and provided with pain-relief medication before he was transported to Mediclinic Vereeniging for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further care.
