[MOREBENG] – Head-on collision leaves one dead, another critical.

Yesterday, a man was killed, and another left critically injured following a head-on collision on the R36 in Morebeng, Limpopo.
ER24 and other services arrived at 07h30 to find a bakkie in the middle of the road while a light motor vehicle was off the side of the road. Two men were seen lying trapped inside the bakkie.
Medics assessed the men and found that both had sustained several injuries and were in critical condition.
Rescue Services had to use specialised equipment to free the men from the bakkie. Once released, medics treated the men and provided them with advanced life support. Once treated, the men were transported to nearby hospitals for urgent care.
Unfortunately, after some time in hospital, the one critically injured man succumbed to his injuries.
The exact details surrounding this incident are unknown, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
