[MORIA] – LDV and car collide leaving woman seriously injured.

A woman in her 20s was left seriously injured this morning when a light motor vehicle and LDV collided on the R71 outside of Moria.
ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene at 11h15 to find both vehicles in the middle of the road. Traffic had begun to back up due to the collision.
On closer inspection, medics found a woman in her 20s lying outside the light motor vehicle.
Medics assessed the woman and found that she had sustained numerous injuries and was in a serious condition. The driver of the LDV was found walking around on the scene with minor injuries.
Medics treated the patients and provided the seriously injured woman with pain-relief medication before they were transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
