[N12] – Three vehicle collision leaves six injured.

This morning, six people were injured when a bus, truck and minivan collided on the N12 between Potchefstroom and Fochville.
ER24 and other services arrived at 07h10 and found all three vehicles in the middle of the road.
On closer inspection, medics found a girl and three boys, aged between 3 and 8, near the minivan while a woman was seated nearby. Another woman was found trapped inside the minivan.
Rescue Services had to use various rescue tools to free the woman from the minivan. Once released, medics assessed the patients and found that all six had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.
The patients were treated and later transported to Mediclinic Potchefstroom for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
